Newly-appointed Saudi government officials were sworn-in before King Salman at Al-Yamamah palace in the capital Riyadh on Wednesday.
The king ordered a government reshuffle earlier this week in a series of royal decrees that included several new domestic policies.

Saudi princes and ministers recently appointed to new posts included Governor of Baha region Prince Dr. Hossam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Hail region Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Northern Borders region Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Asir region Prince Mansour bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Governor of Madinah region Prince Saud bin Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz.

Among the new Saudi officials are also Deputy Governor of Jazan region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh regionPrince Mohammed bin Abdurrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Eastern region Prince Ahmad bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Qassim region Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah region Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Governor of Najran region Prince Turki bin Hazloul bin Abdulaziz.
The oath that was read out by each official included pledges to "be loyal to my religion, king and homeland; not to divulge a secret of the State's secrets, maintain its interests and regulations at home and abroad, and perform my missions with honesty, sincerity and loyalty".
Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz who was appointed as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to the United States of America was also sworn in.
