Tanzanian minister urges the society to invest in youth

The Minister for Community Development, Gender and Children, Hon Sophia Simba has urged Tanzanian society to invest in children and youth because they are the future leaders of the nation.

Minister for Community Development, Gender and Children, Hon Sophia Simba who has urged Tanzanian society to give young people chances which will foster development.

Speaking yesterday in launching ceremony of the campaign initiated by Tigo-Tanzania which aims of enhancing youth who have social projects which focus on children and want to develop them, Minister Simba said if Tanzanian young people are given opportunities can deliver.

“I congratulate our fellow Tigo Company for understanding that they can invest in youth and rescue their talents. This will help even the government in employing other young people who have not been employed.” said Sophia Simba in interview with media few minutes after the event.

Speaking before welcoming the guest of honour, Tanzania’s Tigo General Manager, Diego Gutierrez said always Tigo wish to see the see young people who have talents of helping themselves and the society are supported effectively.

“We aim to initiate the projects which will continue to exist in day to day life and employ more Tanzanian youths, also the projects which help different children who suffer from various problems.”
